Damn Weather

I left the damn car lights on today (i had to go pick up an order of cd paper envelopes for 300 cds my work ordered, the company didnt process my request to include the paper envelopes for the 300 cd duplication!!), for only an hour, it didn’t occur to me to check the battery until i was finishing up work and the car didn’t start up. I was like, errr, what do i do now? I’ve never been in this situation before, all i knew was the car had to be jump start, or whatever the term was.

Thank God to one of the workers at a nearby laundry factory, Paul, had those wire thingys, and connected it from his car to mine.
Turned the ignition. Didn’t work. Panic mode. Paul tried a couple of times, even waited ten minutes and it still wouldn’t start. He walked back to the factory and came back with a kettle. He poured water inside the battery, and started up the car, and it worked!!

I had to go post office to do my passport photos (for when i go to Singapore this November!!), but Paul said the car might not start once i’ve turned off the engine… So i decided to put off doing the passport photos (again) and drove straight home. Each time, stand by at the traffic lights, i was praying it wasn’t going to turn off by itself.  i have bad luck especially with this car, but this time, i made it home safely.

I know i’ve mentioned a couple of times that i needed a new car, i think i’ll ride this one til it dies. lol.
