On Monday & Tuesday i had a Photoshop Course in the city, paid by work, which i have been looking forward to since i enrolled.
It was a very basic introduction to Photoshop, i thought i needed this before i decide to do the advanced course. But I found the lessons to be quite boring as i already knew some of the functions in Photoshop. I felt the teacher was lost and misguided. I mean if you’re going to charge $430 for two full days, wouldn’t the teacher be using updated version of Photoshop, like CS4? He didn’t even know any shortcuts, or how to quickly drag a picture onto another page without doing the long way – select all, copy, paste. And he has been doing this for years, apparently.
One of the projects we had to was make a birthday card and include flowers, a person, gradient background, Happy Birthday text. I chose roses, dark grey gradient, Marilyn Monroe.
Let me know if you want a tutorial.
